Film School in A Box provides synchronous media workshops for classrooms across North America. Our workshops take place in a secure on line environment using Zoom encrypted software. Passwords are uniquely generated prior to the workshop and admittance to the conference is only available to registered users through our waiting room. Teachers are required to stay on the synchronous event for the entire duration. Our master filmmakers are required to have a current Vulnerable sectors check. All films are downloaded by the participants prior to the completion of the workshop. Film School in A Box does not keep copies of the films. When the laptops are returned, Film School in A Box, at the request of the teacher can transfer films to the teacher. The information, including films and all data are wiped. Film School in A Box does not require students to be live on video feed.
